Keep Going

Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.

~Jim Ryun

Studies have shown that it takes 66 days to form a habit. How accurate that is, I have no idea. All I know is that it only takes one day to screw it all up. One day of telling yourself you'll pick back up where you left off tomorrow...one day becomes two, two becomes three, and before you know it you are back where you started or maybe even farther out.

So, before you are tempted to "take some time off", remind yourself that this is a lifestyle change. Don't. Let. Yourself. Give. Up. Think back to what motivated yourself in the first place. Before you know it, exercise will become like the air you need to breathe.

Hmmm. It reminds me of running the race...no time to take your eyes of the finish line or the prize...keep at it, even when that cramp in your side takes your breath away.

May God bless your words here and the change that is a-coming!
